Following the Larch harvesting last year, our squirrels stopped visiting. The canopy of trees that the squirrels used to move around had been removed. Thankfully, a new route to our feeders has been discovered by the little chappies, and it doesn’t involve crossing the road. So, it’s much safer and they seem to be flourishing. Recently, our diners enjoyed the spectacle of one young buck chasing his girl around the trunk of of the beech tree, which can only mean one thing. No wonder the feeders are emptying quickly!
