The Cottage in the Wood: Accommodation Terms & Conditions 2021
Rates Price includes Tasting Menu, Bed and Breakfast.
Deposit We require 50% of the booking rate as a deposit to be taken at the
time of booking.
Groups We are unable to accept group bookings of more than two rooms.
Check in: From 4.00pm.
Check out Requested by 11.00am on morning of departure.
Children The Cottage dates back to 17th Century and has been lovingly
restored. However, all our rooms are double occupancy only and the fabric
of the building has features that mean we are unable to accept children
under 10yrs.
No Smoking Policy For the comfort of all our guests we operate a strictly no
smoking policy. We reserve the right to terminate a guest’s stay if this policy
is ignored and apply a deep cleaning charge of £100.00.
Food & Drink Only food & drink that is purchased at ‘The Cottage’ may be
consumed on the premises.
Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be notified in writing.
– Up to 14 days prior to date of arrival deposit refunded.
– Less than 14 days before arrival deposit refunded if room(s) are re-let.
We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover your booking as you will be liable for the full cost if the room remains un-let.
Loss or damage The guest is responsible to ‘The Cottage’ for any loss or
damage caused by any act or neglect of the guest and shall pay the amount
required to make good this damage. Should any loss or damage come to
light after the guests have departed, we reserve the right to charge the guest’s
credit/debit card and or send an invoice for the amount required to make good
or remedy any such damage.
