time of booking.

Check in From 4.00pm.
Check out Requested by 11.00am on morning of departure.
Children We would not recommend bringing young children to stay with us and dine in the evening. We don’t offer a children’s menu and so the little one would have to eat and be charged for an adults 7 course tasting menu, which can take 3 hours to complete. Please also note, all of our rooms are maximum double occupancy and we don’t have the facility to offer pull out beds or travel cots. Our lunch menu is 5 courses and may be more suitable for your family.
No Smoking Policy For the comfort of all our guests we operate a strictly no
smoking or vaping policy. We reserve the right to terminate a guest’s stay if this policy
is ignored and apply a deep cleaning charge of £100.00.
Food & Drink Only food & drink that is purchased at ‘The Cottage’ may be
consumed in the public areas.
Dogs We welcome well-behaved, toilet trained dogs to the stay in our Garden room which has a separate entrance and is away from the other residents. We have a hose pipe to use after muddy walks, please ask. Dogs are allowed in the lounge until 6pm. We don’t allow dogs in the restaurant, so please be aware there will be times when they will be alone in your room. Please keep your pup on a lead in the public areas and garden (there is no gate between the garden and the road) and please clean up after them using the outdoor bin. We charge an extra £25 per stay.
Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be notified in writing via email ([email protected]).
– Up to 14 days prior to date of arrival deposit refunded.
– Less than 14 days before arrival deposit will not be refunded unless we are able to re-let the room(s).
Loss or damage The guest is responsible to ‘The Cottage’ for any loss or
damage caused by any act or neglect of the guest and shall pay the amount
required to make good this damage. Should any loss or damage come to
light after the guests have departed, we reserve the right to charge the guest’s
credit/debit card and or send an invoice for the amount required to make good
or remedy any such damage.
