A flurry of awards!

On Monday 24th November, we attended the ‘Hotel Cateys’. Awarded by the The Caterer Magazine, our leading industry publication, ‘The Cateys’ is seen as the hospitality ‘Oscars’, a glittering celebration with the leaders, movers and shakers of the hotel world. We were shortlisted for two awards, Restaurant Team of the Year and Hotel Restaurant Chef of the Year. A truly incredible achievement after such a short time. We are so pleased to announce that Jack won Hotel Restaurant Chef of the Year!

A huge congratulations and a toast or two, to everyone involved at The Cottage!

On the same day, our restaurant manager, Joel attended the Gold Service Scholarship Semi Finals in London. A prestigious event where managers hospitality skills are put to the test with role plays, decanting wines, making cocktails and gruelling interviews. We have everything crossed for him to make it to the finals!

 

A few weeks before, we were back in London for the Staff Canteen Awards. Votes were cast, and we were awarded a glittering golden mug for the Sustainable Business of the year!

What a month! Thank you to everyone that voted and that has dined with us over the year.
